Advertising on ScottishBowls.co.uk is a cheap and effective way of reaching a targeted local audience. We have two advertising models.

1. Banner advertising at the top of every page¹, charged monthly.
2. Competition advertising, charged once for the lifetime of the competition.

Banner Advertising
Banner adverts are static or animated images that are placed at the top of every page1 and can be a clickable link to website. There are 6 available slots each month charged at £10 per slot per calendar month or £100 per year per slot. There is no limitation on the number of slots that can be purchase each month.

Each of the 6 slots are displayed evenly throughout the period. Specifically if one page was displayed once every second for a minute each advert would be displayed 10 times.

Competition Advertising
Competition adverts are static that are displayed at the top of the competition view and print pages for a given competition for the lifetime of that competition. Competition advertising is charged at £10 per competition.

Competition adverts have the potential to reach a wider audience as users frequently print out the competition pages and display them on notice boards. This should be kept in mind when deciding what to put in the advert.

Advert Artwork
The adverts should be JPEG, GIF or PNG files with dimensions of 480 pixels wide by 60 pixels height and below 10 kilobytes in size. If you don't have existing artwork we can create your banner, costings for this vary depending on the complexity of the banner but typically range from £40 to £100.

Terms & Conditions

• No statistics are available for the number of times an advert has been displayed or clicked.
• All costs will be reviewed on 1st April each year, existing contracts will be unaffected.
• Payment is required within 21 days of the advert being posted.
• 7 days noticed must be given for any changes to your advert to be made.
• All invoices will be generated by, and all payments should be made to, Habbie Solutions Ltd.
• We reserve the right to refuse or remove adverts that lead to offensive, inappropriate or competitors web sites.
